How many guests can Southwind accommodate?

Southwind welcomes a maximum of 10 overnight guests, in accordance with local occupancy regulations.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?

The home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, providing generous space and privacy for families and groups traveling together.

Is Southwind directly on the beach?

Yes. Southwind is a private beachfront home on the Atlantic Ocean with direct water access and a private pier.

Does the property have a pool and hot tub?

Yes. Guests can enjoy a private oceanfront pool and hot tub surrounded by tropical outdoor living areas.

What activities are available at the property?

Southwind offers resort-style amenities including pickleball, mini golf, basketball shooting, ping-pong, kayaks and bikes, along with relaxing spaces beside the pool and ocean.

Can I bring a boat to Southwind?

The property has a fishing pier, not a dedicated boat dock. At low tide, a boat with a draft of approximately 22 inches or less may be able to pull alongside the pier briefly for loading and unloading.

A mooring buoy is located about 50 feet from the pier, where we have tied our 30-foot boat with a 22-inch draft. We have also left a smaller 18-foot boat tied alongside the pier; however, at low tide, it rests on the bottom.

Water depth, tides, currents, wind and weather can change quickly, so access and conditions are never guaranteed. Any use of the pier or mooring buoy is entirely at the guest’s own risk, and we do not recommend relying on them as the only option for securing a boat.

Alternatively, Caloosa Cove Marina is approximately two miles away and may have temporary slips available. Please contact the marina directly for current availability, rates and vessel requirements.

Where is Southwind located?

Southwind is in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. The public map shows the general area for privacy; the full address and detailed arrival information are provided to confirmed guests.

Do we need a car?

A car is recommended for exploring Islamorada and the surrounding Florida Keys. Miami International Airport is approximately 1.5 hours away, and Florida Keys Marathon Airport is about 45 minutes away. Travel times vary with traffic.
